- How much are tickets?
- Tickets purchased in advance are $10. The day-of-tour tickets are $12 and may be purchased at homes 1, 2, 9 and 10. The precise locations will be listed here a week before the tour.
- How can I get tickets before the tour?
- Tickets to the 2010 Broad Ripple Historic Home Tour are available at select M&I Bank branches, Marsh Supermarket Stores, as well as online.
- Are the homes handicap-accessible?
- Unfortunately because the homes are privately owned, we cannot guarantee that any of them are accessible.
- Do children need tickets?
- Children under the age of 12 are free, however they must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
- How are the proceeds from the tour used?
- Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Broad Ripple Village Association, which maintains several Broad Ripple gardens, medians and parks, as well as initiating Village cleanup efforts.
- Where is Broad Ripple?
- Broad Ripple is a community of homes and businesses approximately seven miles north of the heart of downtown Indianapolis.
- How can my home be on the tour?
- If you live in the Broad Ripple area, we are continually looking for homeowners to volunteer their homes. Click here if you would like your house to be considered.
- How are the homes selected?
- We strive to include a variety of homes each year in terms of size, style and age. We also try to cluster several homes together within a block or two so that visitors can more easily walk between them.
- Is there a rain date for the tour?
- No, the tour will continue rain or shine. If it does happen to rain, we ask that you please remove your shoes before entering the home.
- Are food and drinks available along the tour route?
